The Rain Station, The Waddlers, Sabrina Saed @FREMONT ABBEY
June 7 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
THE RAIN STATION: https://linktr.ee/therainstation
“A conception of college roommate pillow-talk, The Rain Station is a Seattle-based folk duo managing to attract attention only because of their canned sardine giveaways. Seattle outsiders may catch a glimpse of John Prine’s influence while S.A.D.-affected Seattleites may hear how Simon and Garfunkel have inspired their harmonies.” -Artist Bio
THE WADDLERS: https://linktr.ee/waddlersmusic
“The Waddlers sound like a breath from the cowboy that sneaks into the city on Saturday morning to participate in yoga. He’ll return to the desert, embodying the smell of his long gone lover’s favorite recipe fresh out of her favorite oven at her favorite bakery. Throughout his daily duties, he’ll go back-n-forth-n-over on blaming angels and demons and memories for his discomfort, until he decides they are all one and the same. The Waddlers are the clouds he watches for so long that he gets to see the moon emerge from the yawning throat of the sun. The Waddlers play as if the cowboy forgave his deep-rooted shame for preferring wine over whiskey. No need for secrets when you’re safe. Like smoked not robbed by the wind, The Waddlers are the speed this yoga-doin’ cowboy wants to go: unaltered, admirable and authentic.” -Your Jack
